  1. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery timelines are estimates only and may vary depending on destination, courier operations, public holidays, force majeure events, and other external factors beyond the control of SGB Agro Industries.

Delivery may be restricted to specific serviceable locations. Certain consignments may be delivered only through the nearest sub-post office or another feasible logistics arrangement.

Risk in the product shall pass to the customer upon delivery at the provided address or collection point, except where loss or damage is attributable to transport issues covered under the Transport Warranty.

Customers must inspect the package upon delivery and report visible transport damage or shortage within the reporting timeline stated in these Terms.

  1. Return and Replacement Policy

A return or replacement request may be raised within 7 (seven) days from the date of delivery only in the following cases: (a) wrong product delivered; (b) product received in transit-damaged condition; or (c) verified manufacturing defect.

To be eligible, the product must be unused, in substantially original condition, and returned with original packaging, accessories, manuals, and proof of purchase.

Return requests based on change of mind, dislike of the product, minor non-material variation, improper handling after delivery, misuse, or use of the product shall not be accepted.

SGB Agro Industries may request photographs, videos, serial details, unpacking evidence, or inspection details before approving a return or replacement.

  1. Refund Policy

Refunds shall be processed only after the returned product is received, inspected, and approved by SGB Agro Industries.

Approved refunds shall ordinarily be initiated within 5 to 10 business days. The actual time for credit may vary depending on the bank, payment partner, UPI network, or payment instrument used.

Refunds, including orders originally paid through cash on delivery, may be issued via bank transfer, UPI, reversal to the original payment method where technically feasible, or another lawful mode chosen by SGB Agro Industries.

Customers must provide accurate bank account or UPI details where required. SGB Agro Industries shall not be liable for delay or failure caused by incorrect refund details supplied by the customer.

  1. Transport Warranty and Transit Damage

SGB Agro Industries provides a 100% transport warranty for damage attributable to transit while the shipment is under the responsibility of the logistics carrier.

Transit damage must be reported within 24 to 48 hours of delivery, together with clear photographs or video evidence showing the condition of the package and the product.

Where a valid transit-damage claim is verified, SGB Agro Industries may, at its discretion, provide replacement, repair, refund, or another commercially reasonable resolution without charging additional shipping or handling for the approved claim.

Claims made beyond the reporting window or without adequate proof may be rejected.

  1. Product Warranty

Brush Cutters: Covered by a limited warranty of 6 (six) months on the engine only, strictly against manufacturing defects.

Trolleys, Dumpers, Carry Carts, Wheel Barrows, Weeders, and Attachments: No formal product warranty is provided unless expressly stated on the relevant product page, invoice, or separate written warranty card.

Warranty coverage, where applicable, does not extend to consumables, routine maintenance items, belts, blades, filters, fuel-related issues, misuse, neglect, accidental damage, corrosion, water damage, electrical fluctuation, unauthorised repair, modification, or normal wear and tear.

Warranty claims are subject to inspection, verification of purchase, and confirmation that the defect is attributable to manufacturing fault and not external causes.

  1. Service and Repairs

SGB Agro Industries provides repair and servicing support for its own products and may also service brush cutters of other brands, subject to feasibility.

Customers shall bear the cost and responsibility of sending the product to the designated service location, unless SGB Agro Industries expressly agrees otherwise.

After inspection, the customer shall be informed of estimated repair charges, parts cost, and return logistics charges before repair is carried out, except for approved in-warranty repairs.

Service timelines are indicative and depend on diagnosis, spare-part availability, queue load, and transport arrangements.

  1. Cancellation Policy

An order may be cancelled before dispatch, subject to payment gateway deductions, transaction reversals, packaging costs already incurred, or other actual charges where legally permissible.

After dispatch, cancellation shall not be treated as accepted cancellation and will instead be governed by the return and refund policy set out in these Terms.

SGB Agro Industries may cancel an order before dispatch due to stock issues, payment anomalies, address verification failure, logistics infeasibility, regulatory concerns, or suspected fraud.

  1. Customer Responsibilities

Customers shall read product descriptions, instructions, safety warnings, compatibility information, and maintenance guidance before use.

Products must be used only for their intended agricultural or related purpose, in accordance with operating instructions and reasonable safety practices.

The customer is responsible for routine maintenance, safe storage, and compliance with applicable local laws, safety norms, and usage conditions.

Improper assembly, unsafe use, modification, negligent operation, or operation by untrained persons may result in loss of warranty or service coverage.
